International, acoustic world-jazz group Veronneau have
a gift for you! Their new CD, Snow Time, serves a
seasonal cocktail of vocals, guitars and violin – a pan-American collection of modern classics combined with
favorites from the 30’s,40’s and 50’s.

"Snow Time" features Veronneau's trademark
treatment of delicious vocal interpretations and virtuoso
nylon string guitars to a selection of their favorite winter
songs. Ranging from the seductive and clever lyrics of
Eartha Kitt’s classic Santa Baby, to the melancholy
rendering of Joni Mitchell’s River, the band are on top
form. Frank Loesser’s Baby it’s Cold Outside, originally
performed as a duet by Frank and his wife, is updated
with the vocal interplay of Veronneau’s husband and
wife team Lynn Véronneau and guitarist Ken Avis. The
set is closed out with a vocally luscious version of Jose
Feliciano’s modern classic Feliz Navidad featuring the
soaring violin of British musician Dave Kline.
